I have an amazing business idea.

So amazing, in fact, that I'm thinking about documenting its rise to success, just so folks can see how I did it. That's how sure I am about this idea.

For lack of time, however, I'm thinking of maybe just documenting some stuff journal-style in a nice generic way... though I'm afraid that by saying the slightest bit, you'll figure it out, then run and tell somebody with startup capital.

Can I trust you?

I don't know.

Why, Hello Blog! How you doing?

Got a neat email yesterday:

Hello, I wasn't sure if you guys had a testimonials page or anything for your singlesaints site. I just wanted to say that last year (about a year ago) my now husband contacted me on single saints. I never thought we would meet. I actually deleted most of the messages that I got from the site, I mostly joined to find roomates. I moved to Utah to go to BYU at I found out that where he was from (orem) was right next to Provo. We met in June when I was desperate for a last minuet date. He called me just as I was about to cancel the double date with my cousin. I asked him out out of the blue and exactly 6 months from the day we met we got married in the Salt Lake Temple (December 23rd 2004). I dunno if you have a sucess story page or anything but I just figured I'd write to say thanks anyway! I honestly don't believe I would have met my husband if it wern't for this site. I appreciate it!

Now, we've had marriages result from Singlesaints before, but what made this especially cool was that she included photos -- and they're an interracial couple. Not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill interracial couple -- no no. She's black and he's white.

I say that's not ordinary because, well, I haven't seen it much before. You'll see white girls with black guys, but the reverse seems much less common.

Cooler still, they're good-looking! It's so nice to see attractive people meeting online, helping to dispel the myth that online dating is for paraplegic midget immigrants.

Anyways, it was cool to hear. I made another family! Woo hoo!
